Okay , so this is my new blog. I've tried a few times before at the 'blogging' thing but I've always found one way or another to completely abandon it. But this time I'm going to make a subconscious effort to update regularly and to spend as much time and effort into blogging as i can. So this is my very first post here at Styledtoslaugher and i thought what better way to introduce myself then with a post all about ME.
I'll start with the boring basics. My name is Chris Powell , Im 18 and i live in Liverpool which is a city in England. I am currently on my first year at studying Fashion Styling and Promotion at college. I could write a whole post about my college course but everyone knows that that will be as boring as fuck.
As im a fashion stylist in training i love learning about new emerging fashion , past and current fashion , subcultures , culture and artistic influences. So this blog is going to be a 'creative outlet' for me to talk a bunch of nerdy fashion/art kid shite and post my inspirations and my outfits and my thoughts and just 'bloggy' stuff.
I chose the name 'Styled to Slaughter' because you've all heard of the term ''dressed to kill'' haven't you? Well apparently everyone else has and its an unavailable URL so i went one step better and made a sinister substitute.
I'm not that sure of what else i can write on this post so ill try and clean up and finish off. But i just want to let people know that this blog is going to be a relaxed experience , I'm not going to write pretentious posts about the fashion industry just to make me sound like i know my shit ,because thats not what im here for. Im just a lonely teenage boy here to have a laugh and just share my inspirations , outfits and creative ideas with like-minded people :) . All views on this blog will be my own and i will state when the pictures i use are mine.
Anyway i hope you enjoyed this post and i hope you stick around for more because that would make me alot very happy , so go ahead and follow me. Also if you have any ideas of posts you wanna see me do then go ahead and comment and ill give it a think.
