Okay so for this outfit I wore a basic pink t shirt which I trifted, im loving pink atm because it's an unexpected alternative to a basic white t shirt, and it goes well with all black outfits. Therefore I kept the rest of the outfit black, I wore these DIY ripped jeans which clearly I slashed the shit out of.
For accessories I wore my black H&M cap, my black classic sunglasses from RIVERISLAND and my amazing see through backpack, look at her isn't she the best.
For my shoes I wore my Nike sandals. I've been really into the sports luxe / minimal styling atm so I decided to 'shoe debut'' my black nike sandal, not too sure on the exact model but ill keep you updated on that.

OOTD - 15/05/2014

Okay so over the years ive tried blogging and posting my outfits but I end up slipping behind and then forgetting about it for months and then post a few outfits then fall back into the same habits. Well, I want to put an end to that. Over the past few months I have been wanting to get serious about fashion blogging, so here I am.

My outfit today was really relaxed and chilled as i was just running errands. Also I picked these amazing red converse up at the thrift yesterday for just £1.50, it almost gaurenteed  i will be wearing these all S/S.

 This look is my own interpretation on the sports luxe trend that is everywhere atm. I've really been sticking with a black/white colour pallet as of late. Im just liking the minimalism that the colours bring. Oh and i D.I.Y'd my sweater w an old jersey sweatshirt and some manic strokes of acrylic paint. This was originally for a college project but i love it too much not to wear it in the real world. Also loving this style of hat atm, really boyish but with sports luxe written all over it. ALSO ALSO ALSO love these shoes alot. Black, white and snake skin.

Mutated Jeans - Blog posts coming soon

Back in November i made this crazy statement saying that i was going to start blogging often. Well that kind of back fired. But there have been reasons (excuses) why i haven't been blogging . At all. 

I had a  few assignments and projects that i needed to finish off so i thought that the best thing to do is get them out the way so i can dedicate myself to blogging instead of balancing out overdue work. Also i have been really thinking about the name of this blog. It started off as styledtoslaughter which is great, but it didn't sum up what i wanted this blog to be. I think it suggested an aggression to my style that i don't always have. I really like to experiment with my style and change it up day to day, punk rock one day and inappropriate formal wear the next so i wanted something a bit more tame, something with less anger. So i got thinking and i went through a SHIT SHOW of names that im too embarrassed to even say.

 But in the end  i came up with Mutated-Jeans.

It's stupid, it's punny and it's fashion and im okay with that.

But ye i might change the name in like 4 days ahaha.

Okay so yes. I am going to be posting outfits and blogging on this freshly named blog. I hope to get one up by this weekend. But untill then you can go check me out on my social media gigs -
